Seller details, VAT number and invoice prefix
Complete the firm's seller details (name, VAT number, CR, national address, IBAN) and numbering and due-date settings.
Last updated:
These details appear on every invoice as the seller. Find them in the Seller profile & Fatoora tab (the page title is E-invoicing (Fatoora)). The owner and partners edit them; the accountant sees them read-only.
Fields
- Name and registrations: Legal name (Arabic), Legal name (English), VAT number (15 digits starting and ending with 3), Commercial registration (CR).
- National address: Building number (4 digits), Street, District, City, Postal code (5 digits), Additional number (optional, 4 digits).
- Invoice settings: Invoice number prefix (1–10 Latin letters or digits, e.g. INV), Default days to pay (0 to 365), Default invoice type.
- Bank account: Bank name, IBAN (SA followed by 22 digits) and Invoice footer note.
Required to issue invoices: the Arabic legal name, VAT number, CR number and national address (the additional number excluded). The Seller details readiness card lists what is Missing: or has an Invalid format:. You can save an incomplete profile and come back, but format errors block saving.
Notes
- Changing the prefix affects future invoices only; issued invoices keep the details they had at issue.
- The IBAN is what the client sees on the invoice, in the portal and in the summary email; see Online payment.
- Practice applies 15% VAT to standard-rated lines; VAT registration itself and its deadlines are your responsibility with the authority.
