Seats on the Firm plan and the 3-seat minimum
How paid seats are counted, what happens when you add or deactivate a member, and what "all seats are taken" means.
Last updated:
On the Firm plan you pay a "seat" for every active member (SAR 149 per month or SAR 1,490 per year per user), and the minimum number of paid seats is 3. Solo is always one seat.
How it is counted
- Paid seats = the larger of 3 or the number of active members.
- Deactivated members don't count.
- When you subscribe you start with the current number of active members (at least 3).
When the headcount changes
- Deactivating a member: their seat is freed and the subscription adjusts automatically, with the difference prorated on the current period.
- Accepting an invitation or reactivating: the subscription adjusts automatically too.
- Update seats on the billing page: manually matches paid seats to active members. It's disabled when they already match, and you see "The seat count already matches." or "The seat count on the subscription was updated."
"All seats are taken"
"All seats are taken. Add seats on the billing page to invite more people." appears when active members reach the paid seats of an existing subscription. Try these steps:
- Open Billing and compare Active members with Paid seats.
- Click Update seats if they differ.
- Deactivate a member who no longer works with you to free a seat.
- If the message stays and you can't increase seats, contact support from the help center.
During the free trial members aren't limited by seats. When the status is Past due you can't add members until you update the payment method; see Trial, cancellation and past-due.
