Reminders and notifications: who gets what and when
When hearing and deadline reminders are sent, where to find notifications, and why you might not get one.
Last updated:
Practice sends automatic reminders for hearings and statutory deadlines, and notifies you when work is assigned to you.
Hearing and deadline reminders
- When: 7 days before, 3 days before, 1 day before, and on the morning of the day itself. They go out from 7:00 a.m. Riyadh time.
- How: an in-app notification (the bell icon) and an email.
- To whom: the attending lawyer or the person responsible for the item, the matter's responsible lawyer, and its active team members.
- No repeats: each stage is sent once. If an item is added less than 7 days ahead, you get one reminder, not three.
- Missed deadline: an open deadline whose date has passed becomes Missed and you get a "Deadline missed" notification.
- If you change an item's date, its reminders start again.
Assignment notifications
You are notified when a colleague adds you to a matter's team or makes you the responsible lawyer, or assigns you a hearing, deadline, task or lead. When a visitor submits an intake form, owners and partners are notified.
Where do I see them?
- The bell icon at the top and the Notifications menu item, with an unread counter.
- The Notifications page: Mark as read for each, and Mark all as read.
- The home page shows Latest notifications and the "Coming up for me" summary.
Why didn't I get a reminder?
- You are not the attendee or responsible person, not on the matter's team, or your membership is deactivated.
- The item is Cancelled or Done, or the hearing is not Scheduled.
- Check your email spam folder.
