The AI assistant free trial (30 points)
Each firm gets 30 trial points once before subscribing, after the owner accepts the terms
Last updated:
To try the assistant before subscribing, Practice gives every firm 30 trial points, once.
How it works
- The trial belongs to the firm, not to each user, and is consumed by whoever uses the assistant.
- It works on any plan, even Free, as long as the firm hasn't subscribed to the assistant add-on.
- It does not work until the owner accepts the data-processing terms.
- You see "Free trial: … points left", and your actions are logged in My recent requests with the source "Trial".
- Estimates are reserved as usual; a single legal research (25 points) uses most of it, and if less than a feature's estimate remains it won't run.
After it ends
You see "The free trial points are used up; subscribe to the AI add-on to continue", or for members "ask the firm owner to subscribe to the add-on". Subscribing is for the owner, and it is an add-on to Solo or Firm (details). If your plan is Free, upgrade first (upgrading).
