AI assistant points and how they are charged
One point covers about 0.02 USD of processing cost, and the monthly allowance is 300 points per user
Last updated:
Practice measures assistant usage in points. One point covers about 0.02 USD of processing cost.
How points are charged
- Before running, the feature's estimate is reserved, and the action starts only if your balance covers it.
- When it finishes, you are charged what matches the actual cost, with a minimum of one point. So points grow with the size of the document or request and shrink with a smaller one.
- Actions that fail, that the assistant declines, or that you stop are not charged. You see them in My recent requests marked "Not charged".
The monthly allowance
Each enabled user gets 300 points a month. They renew on the 1st of each calendar month, Riyadh time, and what is left does not carry over. You see "… left this month".
Where points are taken from
- Your monthly allowance first.
- If it is not enough, the firm's shared top-up credit.
- Firms without the add-on use the free trial only.
If an action slightly exceeds your monthly allowance, the excess is taken from top-up credit when there is any.
Where I see my usage
- My recent requests on the assistant page: time, feature, item, points charged and their source (monthly, top-up or trial).
- Owners and partners: Usage this month in the assistant settings, by user and by feature. The cost in dollars is visible to the owner only.
