Record a hearing result and schedule the next one

After a hearing, record whether it was held or postponed and what happened, and book the next one in one step.

Last updated:

A hearing whose day has arrived without a recorded result shows a Record result mark as a reminder.

Steps

  1. Open the matter, go to Hearings and find the hearing.
  2. Press Record result.
  3. Under What happened? choose Hearing held or Hearing postponed.
  4. Write the Summary (for example, "The defendant filed their memo; adjourned for our reply.").
  5. To book the next one, turn on Schedule the next hearing and enter the Next hearing date (Hijri or Gregorian), its time and purpose.
  6. Save. You see Result recorded.

What you get

  • The hearing's status becomes Held or Postponed.
  • The next hearing is created with the same court, circuit, location and attending lawyer, and linked to the first: the first shows Next hearing and the second Continues from.
  • Reminders for the new hearing go out automatically (reminders).

Hearing statuses: Scheduled, Held, Postponed, Cancelled. Cancelling is done with the Cancel hearing button, not by recording a result.
