Edit and archive a contact

How to edit a contact, and what archiving does to limits and conflict checks.

Last updated:

Edit details

  1. Open Clients and click the contact's name.
  2. Press Edit at the top.
  3. Change what you need and press Save. You see Changes saved.

The duplicate warning also works here if you change the phone, ID or email to one already used by another contact.

Archiving

There is no delete tool for contacts. Use archive instead:

  1. Open the contact and press Archive.
  2. Confirm: "Archive this contact? It disappears from lists; its data and activity are kept."

After archiving:

  • It disappears from the Clients list (visible with the Archived filter).
  • It stops counting toward the Free plan contacts limit.
  • It is left out of default conflict checks, and its page says so.
  • Its data and activity are kept.

To bring it back press Restore. On the Free plan at its limit, restoring may be refused with a plan-limit message.
