Hearing notes from dictation

Dictate what happened at the hearing and the assistant arranges it into notes with the next hearing and tasks for you to review and save

Last updated:

After a hearing, dictate what happened or type it, and the assistant arranges it into notes and proposes the next hearing and tasks. Estimate: ≈ 2 points.

Steps

  1. Open the hearing in the matter's hearings section and press Notes from dictation. It appears for hearings dated today or earlier.
  2. Press Start dictation and speak (the browser uses Saudi Arabic speech recognition), or type in the box. If your browser doesn't support it you see "Voice dictation is not supported in this browser; type your notes in the box", and the same if the microphone is refused.
  3. Press Build the notes.
  4. Under Review the notes before saving edit as you wish: Outcome (held or postponed), the Notes text that is saved as the hearing result, the Next hearing (date, time, purpose) if you want to schedule it, and the Tasks with each due date. Read the Assistant's notes.
  5. Press Save to the hearing and create tasks. "Notes saved and … tasks created" appears.

Things to watch

  • If the Hijri and Gregorian dates mentioned don't match, a message says "The Hijri and Gregorian dates given do not match; check the date". If the hearing already has a next hearing scheduled you see "The next hearing is already scheduled" and no second one is created.
  • A date that can't be read is dropped rather than guessed.
  • Saving requires the matter-editing right.
