How do I subscribe to Solo or Firm?
Steps to subscribe from the Practice workspace, the trial, seats, and who can pay.
Last updated:
Subscribing to Solo or Firm is done from your office's Practice workspace, with secure payment via Stripe.
Steps
- Open Plans and pricing and press Choose Solo or Choose Firm. (Or go to Practice → Subscription & billing.)
- If you don't have a lawyer account, register first. Then create the workspace if you don't have one: office name and city (VAT and licence numbers are optional).
- On Subscription & billing choose the plan and billing cycle: Monthly or Yearly (two months free).
- Press Subscribe now and complete payment in Stripe with a mada, Visa or Mastercard card or Apple Pay.
- You return to the page with “Subscribed successfully”; the status may take a moment to update.
The trial
An office that never subscribed before gets a 14-day free trial with its first subscription; it doesn't repeat.
Seats
- Solo: one user. If the office has more than one active member you'll see “Solo is for one user”; deactivate the others or choose Firm.
- Firm: counted per active member with a minimum of 3. After adding or deactivating members press Update seats so the subscription matches the member count (the difference is prorated).
Who can subscribe?
The office owner only. Others see “Subscription management is available to the office owner only”.
