The newsletter: subscribing and unsubscribing

Subscribing
- From the bottom of any page: enter your email under "Weekly newsletter". You receive a confirmation email; open the link in it to complete the subscription (it is not complete until then).
- When creating an account: the "Send me the newsletter…" box is ticked by default; clear it if you do not want it.
- From settings: the newsletter option in Account settings.
Unsubscribing
- Open any newsletter email and press the Unsubscribe link at the bottom (or the unsubscribe button your mail app shows).
- The unsubscribe happens immediately on the first click with no extra steps, and you see a confirmation page with an option to undo it if it was a mistake.
Unsubscribing removes your address from all newsletter lists and withdraws your consent to marketing emails.
